Adult Athletics

The City of Statesville Recreation and Parks Department offers the following athletic leagues for adults.

Softball - The following leagues are offered in the spring each year.  The spring leagues typically runs from April through August.

• Men's Open
• Men's Church
• Men's Industrial
• Women's Open
• Women's Industrial
• Women's Church

Fall leagues typically run from September through November and consist of:

• Men's Industrial
• Men's Open 
• Coed Ragball

Ballfields

Abernathy Ballfield
1325 Alexander Street - This parcel is a single purpose area with a lighted softball field, bleachers and restroom/concession building.

Cochran Street Ballfield
1000 Cochran Street - this is a single purpose area with a lighted softball field, bleachers and restroom/concession building.

Albert B. McClure Park & Ballfields
1230 Museum Road - Approximately 14 acres; three lighted ballfields, bleachers and restrooms along with two picnic shelters with tables and grills.
