Welcome to the Statesville Regional Airport

The Statesville Regional Airport (KSVH) is a General Aviation (GA) airport owned by the City of Statesville, serving the residents of Iredell County and the general area. The 7,000-foot runway and full parallel taxiway can handle any size corporate aircraft. The SRA provides corporate aviation facilities for Fortune 500 companies like Lowe’s, as well as multiple NASCAR teams. Numerous aviation parts and equipment manufacturers make their home in our region,

Located along I-40 and I-77, our region offers natural transportation advantages. Our close proximity to two major interstates affords easy highway access to I-85, as well as I-95, I-81, I-20 and I-26.

The recently approved Market Study is available online. Click here to download a copy of the document.

The City of Statesville is fortunate to have a willing partner in Iredell County for the funding of the airport. The City and County have worked together for some time to fund projects at the airport. The most recent project (rehabilitation and strengthening of the runway, taxiways and apron) was funded primarily through federal Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grants distributed by the NCDOT-Division of Aviation.
