City Bulletin

WINTER STORM WARNING: There is a winter storm warning for heavy snow in Statesville (and surrounding counties) involving significant amounts of snow that will make travel dangerous.  Only travel in an emergency, if you must travel.  Be sure to take along your cell phone, wear a warm coat, gloves and boots.  Keep a blanket, flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

CITY PREP: The Statesville Street Division is on standby with snowplows and sand trucks in the event road conditions deteriorate this evening.  Once the rain switches to snow, road conditions will be monitored and steps taken to address any trouble spots that may develop overnight.

In case of a fire or serious emergency, call 911.

If your power goes off and you are a Statesville City customer, call 704-878-3479.  You will be prompted to give information.  Please stay on the line – this information is important in our efforts to restore power.
