City Bulletin

Let the City of Statesville help you with some great resolutions for 2014 …

1.        Improve your health: Start at the Statesville Fitness and Activity Center where the staff will be glad to help you decide which programs will benefit your fitness goals.  704-878-3944

2.       Recycle: Make a difference in our environment and in your waste disposal by participating in curbside recycling or taking your items to the City’s two Recycling Center locations: parking lots at the Police Department and Statesville Fitness and Activity Center. Click here for more information.

3.       Get involved: Let us know if you’re interested in the spring class of Statesville 101.  The dates haven’t been set yet, but if we have enough interest, the 7-week overview of all things Statesville City Government will be offered.

Also, stay tuned for the next phase of the CONNECT our Future program scheduled for Thursday, March 6.  This will be another opportunity for the community to give their input on our region’s growth.

4.       Be Prepared: Make sure your smoke detectors are working.  Develop an emergency plan in case of bad weather or other hazardous conditions. Know what resources are available when disaster strikes.  Start here to learn more.

5.       Keep Informed: Sign up for Hello Statesville and get a call each Sunday night to tell you what’s going on.  Follow the City on Facebook and get up-to-date information as it happens.  Tune into Government Cable channel 20 for City and Community announcements.  Listen to Around the City on WSIC 1400 AM radio on Monday mornings at 8:30 a.m. and Statesville Tuesdays on WAME 550 on Tuesday mornings at 9 a.m.
