With the threat of Hurricane Florence having some impact in our area, the City of Statesville encourages you to prepare now:

1. Sign up for Iredell County’s Emergency Notifications including Severe Weather Alerts.


2. Sign up for the Statesville Call-Out.  Typically, these numbers are only used for the Hello Statesville calls on Sunday nights. But they will also be used when there is a need to notify residents about specifici emergencies.


3. Make a note of these numbers in case of emergency:

·        Life threatening emergency or fire – 911

·        Report a Power Outage for Statesville customers only - 704-878-3479

·        Report flooding, trees blocking streets and other non-life threatening hazards – 704-878-3406

4. Know where to get up-to-date information:

· is updated regularly during emergency situations.

·        Check the updated recorded messages 704-878-3586

·        Statesville’s local radio stations and newspapers are great resources for information

5. Have a checklist of items you may need in case of a power outage.
