City Manager Larry Pressley presented the proposed 2014-2015 budget to Council.

Highlights include:

*No tax increase
*The conversion to Single Stream Recycling without implementing a new fee
*A 3.5% pay increase
*Various increases in Civic Center room rental fees, some recreation fees, electric rates and water and sewer rates

The Manager's Budget Message contains highlights of the proposed budget. A public hearing on the budget has been set for Monday, May 19.

Council will begin a series of work sessions on the budget on Tuesday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 28, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

The public can look at a copy of the entire proposed budget at the City Clerk's Office, located on the first floor of the City Hall building.
