Eric Trump, businessman and son of President Donald Trump, flew into the Statesville Regional Airport Tuesday morning to spend the day at the Trump National Golf Club in Mooresville.  Statesville Airport Manager John Ferguson was notified Monday by Secret Service of Trump's travel plans and arranged for Statesville Mayor Pro Tem Michael Johnson and Iredell County Commission Chairman James Mallory to greet the President's son.  Statesville Police and Iredell County Sheriff's Departments also accompanied Trump.  "This is another example of our ability to accommodate all types of business travel," said Ferguson.  "Even when Secret Service is involved and special arrangements are needed, the Statesville Regional Airport offers hospitality as well as a smooth arrival and departure."
