N. Center Street has been reopened, and our crews are working hard to reach the final areas. We expect power to be restored to the remaining 150 customers within the next 4 hours.UPDATE: Friday, September 27, 2024 at 1:15pm
- The Customer Service Office is now open.
- We currently have around 221 customers experiencing power outages, and our crews are working to restore power.
- 🗑️ Sanitation crews are back on the road to continue their routes.

City crews are actively working to repair powerlines and clear downed trees. We currently have around 250 customers without power.
🚧 The only road closed at this time is N. Center Street near Prevette Street.

THURSDAY - SEPTEMBER 26, 2024
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Friday afternoon. Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected due to tropical moisture interacting with a stationary front, followed by Tropical Storm Helene. Storm-total rainfall of 3 to 4 inches, with locally higher amounts, could cause urban flooding and dangerous flows along streams.
A Wind Advisory is in effect from 8 PM Thursday until 2 PM Friday. Winds of 15-25 mph with gusts up to 55 mph are expected.
