We are dedicated to improving the quality of life in the City of Statesville and partner with other City departments to provide an excellent service to all who live, work, and play in our community.

The Statesville Fire Department is an Insurance Services Office {ISO} Class 1 Rating (exemplary fire suppression program) and serves a population of approximately 28,000 and a geographical area of 26+ square miles. We currently employ 83 Full-Time personnel that staffs 4 Fire Stations and 5 Companies.

The Statesville Fire Department {SFD} is committed to providing excellent fire service to the community and requests your feedback on how we are doing. Community organizations, businesses and residents are invited to participate.
The survey allows individuals to prioritize SFD Programs. Information from the survey will be used by the SFD to evaluate current programs and future priorities.

The SFD Administrative Team is made up of the Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief of Training, Accreditation Manager, and the Fire Office Manager.
