Hello Statesville!  Are you looking for a challenge that has a great cause?  Then be sure to join us on Saturday, February 18, 2023 and go freezin’ for a reason at the 2023 Polar Plunge for the Special Olympics of Iredell County.  The event will be held at the Statesville Leisure Pool located at 1875 Simonton Road and check in begins at 10am.  Need more info?  Visit statesvillenc.net and click on Recreation & Parks upcoming events!

The countdown is on for the Statesville Bridal Expo!  Don’t miss out on this opportunity to meet some of the best wedding and event vendors in the region on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the Statesville Civic Center.  Admission is only $5, and doors open at 1pm.

Leaf collection continues this week in areas south of West Front Street, west of South Center and Shelton Avenue, Wilson Lee Blvd, Bristol Road, and neighborhoods along Wallace Springs Road.

The call comes out on Sundays at 7 p.m. and lasts about 45 seconds. You can also get the message by text or email. You can only receive this call if you register.

You will also get emergency notifications specific to Statesville when necessary.
