The Statesville Board of Adjustment will meet on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 12:30 pm in the Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of City Hall, 227 South Center Street, Statesville, NC.

AGENDA

1.     Welcome

2.     Review and Approval of Minutes from the July 11, 2023 regular meeting.

3.    V23-04: A request filed by Angus & Christine Stone for two variances from the Statesville Unified Development Code, Article 5 - Supplemental Regulations/Performance Standards for Specific Uses, which regulates the supplemental regulations of accessory structures and Article 9 – Definitions. Specifically, Section 5.02.A.3, Accessory Structures and Uses, which states, “Accessory structures shall not be located between the front of a principal building and the street right-of-way or front property line with the exception of gazebos” and Section 9.02 which defines accessory structures. The petitioner requests to place an accessory structure in the front yard and exceed the square footage allowed at 213 Butterfield Circle; Tax Map # 4725-23-9679.
