City of Statesville Invites Residents to Open House to Shape the Future of Two Neighborhoods

Statesville, North Carolina | January 12, 2024 – The City of Statesville is excited to invite all residents to participate in an upcoming open house event that aims to shape the future of two neighborhoods: the Monroe Street/Allison St corridor and West Front Street.

As part of our commitment to community development and improvement, the City has secured funding from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to explore ways to revitalize older manufacturing buildings and enhance the neighborhoods surrounding them. Both the Monroe Street/Allison St corridor and West Front Street corridor have been home to manufacturing for over a century. While some of these buildings remain in active use, others have been dormant for decades.

We believe that the input and insights of our residents are invaluable in shaping the future of these neighborhoods. That's why we're hosting an open house event on Tuesday, January 30th, where you can share your thoughts and ideas on how to make these neighborhoods even better.

Event Details:

  • Date: Tuesday, January 30, 2024
  • Time: Drop in anytime between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM
  • Location: Statesville Civic Center, 300 S. Center Street

This open house is your chance to voice your opinions, express what you love about your neighborhood, and provide valuable input on how we can work together to make our community even stronger. Whether you're a long-time resident or new to the area, your perspective matters, and we want to hear from you.

To stay updated and learn more about the event, please visit the City of Statesville website – www.statesvillenc.net.

Join us on January 30th to be part of this important conversation and help shape the future of the Monroe Street/Allison St corridor and West Front Street. Together, we can make our community a better place for everyone.
