The Statesville Board of Adjustment will meet on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 12:30pm in the Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of City Hall, 227 South Center Street, Statesville, NC.
AGENDA
1. Welcome
2. Review and Approval of Minutes from the May 7, 2024 meeting.
3. V24-02; A request filed by Lisa M. Valdez for three variance requests for the Statesville Unified Development Code, Section 3.04 Zoning District Regulations, Subsection J. R-5MF- High Density Multi-Family Residential District, and Appendix A, Section 8.06, Streets, B. Streets, B. Street Design, 6, Cul-de-sac Street. The applicant is seeking three requested variances which are as follows: 1) To reduce the rear setbacks to a minimum of 17.9 feet, 2) To reduce the common open space requirement by 1.04 acres, 3) To allow for the hammerhead design in lieu of the cul-de-sac design. Tax Map #4744-53-2199 and 4744-53-6146.
