The City of Statesville recently gathered to celebrate a special occasion—the Employee Service Award Luncheon, an event dedicated to recognizing and honoring the exceptional contributions of our employees. This annual celebration is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the individuals who help make our city a great place to live and work. HR Director Stacey Everette opened the event by thanking everyone for attending and highlighting the significance of the day. “This afternoon, we are here to celebrate 66 employees with 726 years of combined service,” she shared.

As part of the program, Mayor Costi Kutteh and City Manager Ron Smith joined in presenting awards, reinforcing the City’s appreciation for its employees. The City Council’s recently adopted core values emphasize that “We Value City Staff”, and this event served as a way to acknowledge the dedication and contributions of our workforce.
