PUBLIC NOTICE: City of Statesville Planned Service Outage – May 7, 2025

Last Updated 5/5/2025Posted in Latest City News, Homepage

The City of Statesville will conduct a planned maintenance outage on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 7:00am to 12:00pm.

This outage will affect phone lines and internet services at the following locations:

  • City Hall – 227 S. Center Street
  • City Office Building & Customer Service – 301 S. Center Street
  • Statesville Civic Center – 300 S. Center Street

The Customer Service Office will be closed during the outage (7:00am – 12:00pm). Doors to the City Office Building will be locked, and all phone calls will go directly to voicemail.

Please note:

  • Phone (IVR) and online payments will continue to be accepted.
  • Scheduled drafts from bank accounts or credit cards will be processed as usual.
  • Drop box payments at the City Office Building will be processed once services are restored.

City Hall and the Statesville Civic Center will remain open to the public, but staff may have limited ability to assist with customer requests during the outage. Public internet access at the Statesville Civic Center will still be available.

If we experience any issues that extend the outage beyond the anticipated timeframe, an update will be provided. Updates will be shared on the City’s website at www.statesvillenc.net and the City of Statesville Facebook page.

We appreciate your patience as we complete these necessary system upgrades.
