The City of Statesville extends its deepest appreciation to our outgoing mayor and council members for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to our community. Their service has helped guide Statesville through years of growth, change, and continued progress.

We are grateful for the time, energy, and experience each person brought to the City Council:

  • Mayor Costi Kutteh – 36 years
  • Councilmember Jap Johnson – 36 years
  • Councilmember Steve Johnson – 8 years
  • Councilmember Kimberly Wasson – 3.5 years
  • Councilmember Joe Hudson – 3.5 years

Together, their collective service represents decades of advocacy for our residents, thoughtful decision-making, and a shared commitment to the city’s future. The City of Statesville thanks each of them for their contributions and wishes them the very best in their next chapter.
