Statesville Community Appearance Commission Honors Outstanding Efforts with Spring Appearance Awards


Statesville, NC - May 1, 2024 - The Statesville Community Appearance Commission (SCAC) is delighted to announce the recipients of the prestigious Spring Appearance Awards, honoring individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to enhancing the visual appeal of our community. This year, the award is presented to three remarkable recipients: Kathleen & Steve Gay of Davie Avenue, Kay Osswald of North Race Street, and Kent & Amy Spears of Oakhurst Road.

"The Spring Appearance Awards celebrate individuals who go above and beyond in their efforts to beautify our community," said SCAC Chair Ann Speaks. "Kathleen & Steve Gay, Kay Osswald, and Kent & Amy Spears exemplify the spirit of community pride and serve as inspiring examples for us all."

The Spring Appearance Awards highlight the importance of community beautification and recognize residents whose exceptional contributions enhance the overall quality of life in Statesville.
