Iredell Health System Day

May 1, 2024

WHEREAS, Iredell Health System has been a cornerstone of healthcare and beacon of hope in our community since its founding on May 1, 1954 and

WHEREAS, over the past 70 years, Iredell Health System has dedicated itself to providing exceptional medical care, advancing medical knowledge, and supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families throughout the City of Statesville and Iredell County and

WHEREAS, the hospital's commitment to excellence has been demonstrated through its state-of-the-art facilities, pioneering medical treatments, and compassionate care provided by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals; and

WHEREAS, Iredell Health System has continued to evolve and grow, adapting to the changing needs of the community while upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety; and

WHEREAS, the 70th anniversary of Iredell Health System serves as a moment to celebrate its remarkable achievements, honor the contributions of its staff and volunteers, and express gratitude for its unwavering service to the community;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Constantine H. Kutteh, Mayor of the City of Statesville do hereby proclaim May 1, 2024 as IREDELL HEALTH SYSTEM DAY in the City of Statesville, and encourage all residents to join in recognizing the significant milestones achieved by Iredell Health System over the past seven decades.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have set my Hand and caused the Great Seal of the City of Statesville to be affixed this 5th day of August 2024.
