The Statesville Historic Preservation Commission will conduct a called meeting on September 12th, 2024, beginning at 7:30pm. The meeting will be located at 227 South Center Street in the Council Chambers on the 2nd Floor.

3. Review and approval of June 27, 2024 HPC Minutes.

4. Review and approval of July 25, 2024 HPC Minutes.

5. Consider Certificate of Appropriateness (COA24-21) from Neil and Kimberly Lates to replace the existing roof materials with a new metal roofing which looks like shingles, install a four-foot-tall steel fence in the side and rear yards, and install railings on the front porch of the house located at 318 Davie Avenue; Tax Map 4744-16-3976.

6. Consider Certificate of Appropriateness (COA24-22) from Maria Escobar to install a pergola in the rear yard, install a new door in the rear elevation, and request to redesign the previously approved eight over eight replacement windows on the structure located at 318 West Front Street; Tax Map 4734-94-1836.
