2025 Future Business Leaders of America Week

February 9-15, 2025

WHEREAS, the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the premier national organization for students preparing for careers in business, and its mission is to inspire and prepare students to become community-minded leaders in a global society; and

WHEREAS, FBLA provides young individuals with opportunities to develop essential leadership, entrepreneurial, and professional skills that will help them succeed in the competitive workforce of the future; and

WHEREAS, the FBLA chapters within the City of Statesville have demonstrated exceptional commitment to academic excellence, community service, and the development of business skills through local, state, and national competitions, conferences, and volunteer projects; and

WHEREAS, the members of the FBLA exemplify the values of hard work, dedication, and integrity, and they continue to be an integral part of shaping the future of the local business community and beyond; and

WHEREAS, the dedication of FBLA members to promoting business education and personal growth plays a significant role in enhancing the economic vitality and social progress of our community and the nation;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Constantine H. Kutteh, Mayor of the City of Statesville, do hereby proclaim February 9-15, 2025 as Future Business Leaders of America Week in the City of Statesville, and encourage all residents to recognize the valuable contributions that FBLA members make to our community and to support their endeavors as they prepare for leadership roles in business and beyond.
