Arbor Day Celebration – Saturday, April 12, 2025

The City of Statesville kicks off Earth Month with a special Arbor Day Celebration! This family-friendly event has been a cornerstone event for the city, highlighting the significance of tree conservation, environmental stewardship, and community unity.

In 2022, Statesville marked its 30th year as a Tree City USA, and the tradition continues with efforts to educate and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.

Tree Planting Day – Tuesday, April 22, 2025

Nothing says Earth Month quite like planting trees! On Tuesday, April 22, the City of Statesville will host Tree Planting Day in honor of Arbor Day. 

City of Statesville Trash Bash – Saturday, April 26, 2025

The City of Statesville is calling on residents to roll up their sleeves and help clean up their community at the Spring Trash Bash 2025!

This event, held in conjunction with the NCDOT Litter Sweep, is part of North Carolina’s biannual roadside litter removal initiative.

The Spring Trash Bash will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, offering an opportunity for residents to make a visible difference in their city.
