The Statesville Historic Preservation Commission will conduct a regular meeting on August 28, 2025, beginning at 7:00pm. The meeting will be located at 227 South Center Street in the Council Chambers on the 2nd Floor.

3. Review and approval of June 26, 2025 HPC Meeting Minutes.

4. Review and approval of July 24, 2025 HPC Meeting Minutes.

5. Conduct public courtesy hearing and make recommendation to city council for the proposed Garfield/Green Street Historic District National Register Nomination.

6. Consider Certificate of Appropriateness (COA25-20) from Ana Gibson to replace the five-foot-tall fence and gate in the front yard with a six-foot-tall fence and gate on the property located at 603 South Race Street; Tax Map 4734-82-6828.

7. Consider Certificate of Appropriateness (COA25-21) from Molly and Kyle Rivera to install a six-foot-tall fence in the side yard and six-foot-tall fence and gate in the front yard on the property located at 144 South Elm Street; Tax Map 4744-17-6184.

8. Consider Certificate of Appropriateness (COA25-22) from Elena Sollazzo to install a brick garden wall in the front yard, install a brick wall in the east side yard, and replace the screening in the screened porch area with glass on the property and structure located at 412 Davie Avenue; Tax Map 4744-17-7254.
