N. Center Street from W. Water to Stockton Street

UPDATE 9/4/2025: This closure has been moved out to September 8-26, 2025. 

N. Center Street from W. Water Street to Stockton Street will have a partial lane closure beginning as soon as Wednesday, September 3, as crews continue work on the Waterline Replacement Project. Flaggers will be directing traffic during the partial lane closures, but motorists are advised to use an alternate route to avoid delays.

Beginning Friday, September 5, this section of N. Center Street will be fully closed for approximately 2.5 weeks. The road will remain open only to local business traffic during this time. Please note, this schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.

Detour Routes

  • Northbound traffic: Take E. Water Street, turn left onto N. Tradd Street, then left onto Stockton Street back to N. Center Street.
  • Southbound traffic: Take Stockton Street, turn right onto N. Tradd Street, then right onto E. Water Street back to N. Center Street.
