Statesville, NC — September 2025 — The Full Bloom Film Festival, in partnership with the City of Statesville Recreation & Parks, invites the community to kick off festival weekend with a free outdoor screening of the iconic 1980s adventure film The Goonies. The screening will take place on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 7:45 PM on the lawn of Broad Street United Methodist Church in downtown Statesville.

Families, film enthusiasts, and community members of all ages are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy a night of nostalgia under the stars. Local food trucks will be on site offering dinner and treats for purchase.
