Halloween in Statesville 2025: A Spooktacular Night of Fun!

Last Updated 10/31/2025Posted in Latest City News, Homepage

Last night, Statesville came alive with the sights and sounds of Halloween as families, friends, and little ghouls and goblins celebrated two of our community’s favorite fall traditions - Downtown Trick or Treat and Trick or Treat at the Greenway!

Downtown Trick or Treat, hosted by Downtown Statesville Development Corporation, filled the streets with laughter, costumes, and candy galore. Local businesses opened their doors to thousands of trick-or-treaters, creating a festive and family-friendly atmosphere in the heart of our city. From superheroes and princesses to classic ghosts and pumpkins, every costume brought a smile to the faces of shop owners and neighbors alike.

Meanwhile, over at Trick or Treat at the Greenway, the Statesville Recreation & Parks Department transformed the greenway into a magical trail of treats and activities. Families enjoyed a safe outdoor setting filled with decorated booths, games, and sweet surprises from local organizations and community partners. It was the perfect mix of fun, fitness, and festive spirit - a wonderful way to enjoy one of Statesville’s most scenic spaces.

These events showcased what makes Statesville truly special - a community that comes together to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories. As Halloween continues tonight, the City of Statesville wishes everyone a safe and happy Halloween! Whether you’re out trick-or-treating, attending neighborhood festivities, or simply enjoying a spooky movie at home, remember to stay alert, use reflective gear or flashlights, and watch for pedestrians and vehicles.

Thank you to all who helped make last night’s events a success - our local businesses, volunteers, and families who continue to make Statesville such a vibrant and welcoming community.

Happy Halloween, Statesville! 🎃🕸️ 👻
