SPD Fill the Trailer Toy Drive

Help the Statesville Police Department spread holiday cheer! Drip off new, unwrapped toys for ages 0-17 at SPD Headquarters, 330 S Tradd St, through December 19, 2025. Prefer to ship online?

View the 2025 Amazon Wishlist here and have your gifts shipped directly to SPD Headquarters.

You can also donate in person during Walmart collection Days on November 15, 22 or December 6 or 13, 2025 from 12p-4p. Learn more here.

Greensboro Symphony Orchestra: Holiday Pops

Greensboro Symphony Orchestra Holiday Pops Concert!

The City of Statesville and Opus Financial Advisors, Inc. are thrilled to welcome back the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra to the Statesville Civic Center for an evening of beautiful holiday music on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

Tickets are $30 - available online here or at the Statesville Civic Center and the Statesville Fitness & Activity Center. Reserve a table for 8 by purchasing eight (8) tickets and then calling (704) 878-3493 to select your table.

Free Leaf Bags Are Here

The City of Statesville is offering free 60-gallon leaf bags to help make fall cleanup easy!

🗓️ Available: November 3 – December 5, 2025

🏡 Limit: One free roll per household

💵 Need more? Up to two additional rolls (10 bags each) can be purchased for $1 per roll through December 22, 2025.

Pick-Up Locations:

Please remember - these bags are for leaves only and should not be used for regular garbage.

Bagged leaves are collected on your regular trash pickup day – no need to wait for loose leaf collection!

🔹Wastewater Control Operator (Trainee) 4th Creek (Full-Time): This position is responsible for learning all aspects of the operation and maintenance of the City’s wastewater treatment facilities; responsible for assisting certified wastewater control operators with duties and maintenance of the plant after successfully completing orientation and trainee instruction. This position is designed for the progressive movement into a Certified Shift Operator position; therefore, the candidate hired for this position will be the next staff member to fill an open shift when it becomes available.

🔹Skilled Laborer - Water Maintenance (Full-Time): This position is responsible for semi-skilled work in a variety of construction, maintenance, and repair assignments involving the use of specialized tools and equipment within the city’s water/sewer department.
