City of Statesville Hosts Annual Thanksgiving Lunch to Celebrate Employees

Last Updated 11/20/2025Posted in Latest City News, Homepage

The City of Statesville came together this week (Wednesday November 19, 2025) to celebrate one of our favorite traditions - the annual Thanksgiving Lunch for City employees. This special gathering is a small but meaningful way for the City to say “thank you” to the dedicated individuals who keep Statesville running strong every day.

Employees from departments across the City enjoyed a warm meal, good conversation, and a chance to connect outside of their daily routines. From public safety and public works to administration, recreation, and beyond, each team plays an essential role in serving our community - and this lunch is an opportunity to pause and recognize that hard work.

As we head into the holiday season, the City of Statesville extends heartfelt appreciation to all employees for their commitment, professionalism, and service. Thank you for all you do, and Happy Thanksgiving!
