Brookdale Drive Temporarily Closed for Water Leak Repair

Last Updated 12/4/2025Posted in Road Closure, Public Utilities, Latest City News, Homepage

The City of Statesville Water Department has temporarily closed a section of Brookdale Drive to repair a water leak that requires immediate attention. The closure extends from Hartness Road to the entrance of the Iredell Memorial Hospital Emergency Department, located just above Oakdale Drive.

At this time, no water service interruptions are expected for nearby customers. If this changes, the City will provide updates as quickly as possible.

Crews are currently assessing and repairing the leak. Because the extent of the work is still being evaluated, an estimated completion time is not yet available. We appreciate your patience as our team works to safely and efficiently restore normal conditions.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the area and consider alternate routes while the closure is in place.
