Project Update: Outage Map Now Live as Part of the Statesville Public Power Outage Management System Project

Last Updated 12/22/2025Posted in Statesville Public Power, Latest City News, Homepage

Statesville Public Power continues to make progress on its Outage Management System Project, focused on improving communication and transparency for electric utility customers.

As part of this project, Statesville Public Power has launched a real-time electric outage map, now available through the City’s website. Customers can access the outage map by visiting: https://www.statesvillenc.net/report-a-power-outage

From that page, customers should click “View Current City of Statesville Outages” to see current outage locations and affected areas.

This outage map represents an important milestone in the Outage Management System Project. While the map allows customers to see where outages are occurring across the community, estimated restoration times and detailed status updates are not yet available, as this portion of the system is still under development.

Until additional features are completed, customers should continue using the Power Outage Line at 704-878-3479 to report outages.

Statesville Public Power is actively working toward the next phase of the Outage Management System Project, which will add enhanced outage details and customer notifications. This phase is expected to be completed in Spring 2026.

Each step of this project is designed to create a more connected, reliable, and customer-focused service experience. Additional updates will be shared as new features come online.
