April 20, 2026

As part of the City of Statesville’s ongoing Waterline Replacement Project, a temporary water service interruption is scheduled for portions of the Oakdale Drive and Springdale Road area.

A city contractor will be completing a waterline tie-in at the intersection of Oakdale Drive and Brookdale Drive beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. This work is expected to take approximately six hours to complete.

During this time, customers on Springdale Road and the 700 block of Oakdale Drive will be without water service.

Crews have scheduled this work during the evening hours to help minimize the overall impact to residents. Once the work is complete, water service will be restored as quickly as possible.

After service is restored, some customers may experience temporary discoloration in their water. If this occurs, run cold water from a bathtub faucet for several minutes, or until the water runs clear.

We appreciate your patience as we continue making improvements to the city’s water infrastructure. If you have questions or experience prolonged issues after service is restored, please contact the Water Department at 704-878-3417.
