Temporary Water Service Interruption Notice - Giant Oaks Subdivision

Last Updated 4/22/2026Posted in Public Utilities, Latest City News, Homepage

A contractor working in the Beaver Creek Subdivision will be completing a tie-in to the city water system on Friday, April 24, 2026.

Work is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. and is expected to be completed by approximately 2:00 p.m.

During this time, customers in the Giant Oaks Subdivision (aka Wallace Springs Subdivision) will experience a temporary water service interruption.

Once service is restored, some customers may notice discolored water due to normal system disturbances. If this occurs, residents are advised to run cold water from a bathtub faucet for several minutes until the water clears.

If you experience any issues following the restoration of service, please contact the Water Division at 704-878-3417.

We appreciate your patience during this temporary interruption.
