Statesville, NC - November 15, 2023 - The City of Statesville is excited to announce that Santa Claus is returning to City Hall this holiday season, and he's bringing his magic mailbox with him!

Starting November 27, the magic mailbox will once again make its home in the City Hall lobby, located at 227 S. Center Street. This mailbox can special express your letters to the North Pole without needing a stamp. And, if you include your name and address, Santa will send you a personal reply!

The excitement doesn't stop there. City Hall will be transformed into a festive wonderland, both inside and out, all set to welcome the community for a magical evening at Santa Central on Friday, December 8, from 6pm to 8pm. You are invited to join us for a host of activities!

Take photos with the Nutcrackers guarding the front of City Hall, or with Santa himself beside the 15-foot Christmas tree inside. Enjoy refreshments, arts and crafts activities for children, and tours of Historic City Hall, guided by the Victorian ghosts of Christmas past. Best of all, it's free!

To ensure Santa receives your letters in time, drop them off at City Hall or mail them to Santa at PO Box 1111, Statesville, NC 28687 by December 8. You can also send your letters via email to [email protected]. Special Santa stationary is available for download from the City's website at www.statesvillenc.net/santa.

If you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us at 704- 878-3586.

We can't wait to celebrate with you at Santa Central!
