Important Public Notice: Change in Mailing Address for Utility Bill Payments

Last Updated 6/13/2025Posted in Latest City News, Homepage

Update: 06/13/2025

The City of Statesville recently issued a public notice regarding the change in mailing address for utility bill payments. We would like to correct an error in the previously published address.

The correct mailing address for utility bill payments is:

Statesville Utility
P.O. Box 96277
Charlotte, NC 28296-6277

Please update your records and begin using this address immediately for all future mailed payments.

If you have already mailed a payment to either the old post office box or to the address previously released in the public notice, do not worry – your payment will be delivered and processed. Payments mailed to either of these addresses will be automatically redirected to the correct address through September 2025. No additional action is needed for payments already in the mail.

If you use your bank’s online bill pay service, please update the mailing address in your bank’s system. Many banks still mail paper checks, and using the old address after the redirect period could cause delays.

Alternate Utility Bill Payment Options:

  • Pay by phone: Call 704-878-3564 to pay your bill 24/7 using the automated phone system.
  • Pay in person: Visit the City Customer Service Office, 301 S. Center St., Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. (Drive-thru available at the same location and hours.)
  • Pay online: https://statesvillenc.municipalonlinepayments.com/statesvillenc

If you would like to speak to a Customer Service Representative, you can call 704-878-3564 and select option 7.

We apologize for any confusion and appreciate your understanding as we transition to this updated payment process.
