The City of Statesville has approved a Right-of-Way Encroachment Permit for Zirrus to install fiber optic infrastructure within the public right-of-way in the Greenbriar and Bell Farm Subdivisions.

Work is scheduled to begin on March 31, 2026, and is expected to be completed by April 3, 2026, weather permitting.

The project will involve the installation of fiber internet infrastructure to support improved connectivity in these neighborhoods. Residents may notice construction crews and equipment in the area during this time. Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution when traveling near active work zones.
