The City of Statesville recently recognized employees for their years of dedicated service during the Annual Employee Service Awards Luncheon.

This year’s event honored 58 employees who collectively represent an incredible 640 years of service to the organization and the community.

The luncheon brought together staff from across all departments, along with Mayor Doug Hendrix and members of City Council, to celebrate the commitment and professionalism that keep the City of Statesville moving forward each day.

Recognizing employee milestones is one way the city lives out its core value: We Value City Staff. Each year of service represents not only time, but a continued commitment to serving residents, supporting coworkers, and contributing to the success of the organization.

Throughout the program, employees were recognized by department and celebrated alongside their leadership teams. The event also included remarks from department directors and city leadership, highlighting the important role each employee plays in delivering services to the community.

The City of Statesville is proud of its employees and grateful for the experience, knowledge, and passion they bring to their work each day. Their service continues to make a lasting impact across the community.
