Public Notice: Public Hearing Scheduled for Proposed Fiscal Year 2026–2027 City of Statesville Budget

PUBLIC NOTICE BUDGET HEARING

In accordance with N.C.G.S. §159-12, the Statesville City Manager has submitted his Recommended Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Operating Budget to the Statesville City Council and City Clerk.

The Statesville City Council will hold a public hearing on June 1, 2026 at 6:00 PM at City Hall located at 227 South Center Street, Statesville, North Carolina. All citizens are invited to attend and provide the City Council with any public comments or questions concerning the City’s proposed budget.

The full proposed budget (summarized below) can be inspected by the public from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the City Clerk’s Office, located at City Hall.
