𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞!

💦 City offices, the Statesville Recreation Center, Bentley Community Center, and the Statesville Event Center will be closed tomorrow for Memorial Day. The Statesville Leisure Pool will be open, and you can find hours and admission prices at recreation.statesvillenc.net/aquatics.

🗑️ Residential sanitation routes scheduled for Monday will be collected on Tuesday. Tuesday and Wednesday routes will both be collected on Wednesday this week. Please note that the Sanitation Division will begin earlier summer schedules this week, so be sure to place your trash and recycling out the night before to ensure pickup. Learn more here.

💪 Join us on Wednesday from 9a - 12p at the Statesville Recreation Center for National Senior Health and Fitness Day. The free event will feature fitness classes, wellness activities, pickleball demonstrations, community resources, and more for our senior community. Learn more here.

Statesville City Council Meeting 07/13/2026Statesville City Council will meet on July 13, 2026 in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
The North Carolina Drought Monitor map, updated June 18, 2026, shows worsening drought conditions across much of the state. Large portions of central and northern North Carolina are shaded red and dark red, indicating extreme (D3) and exceptional (D4) drought conditions. Much of the remainder of the state is experiencing severe drought (D2), shown in orange, with smaller areas of moderate drought (D1) in tan. According to the North Carolina Drought Management Advisory Council, City of Statesville water customers remain under D2 severe drought conditions, and water restrictions remain in effect. The map includes drought classifications and data from the USDA, National Drought Mitigation Center, NOAA, and partner agencies.
