Road Closure: Garfield Street to Close for Stormwater Pipe Repair June 9–12

A contractor working on behalf of the City of Statesville will be repairing a stormwater pipe on Garfield Street beginning Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

The repair work will require the closure of Garfield Street between S. Elm Street and Fall Street from Tuesday, June 9, through Friday, June 12, weather permitting.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and allow additional travel time while the work is underway. Access for local traffic will be maintained as conditions allow.
