The sound and video system upgrades at the Statesville Event Center have been completed. The new equipment has been installed and is operational.
Training for staff on the operation and use of the new equipment is scheduled for next week. These upgrades will enhance the facility's audio and visual capabilities for meetings, conferences, performances, and special events.
New sound and video equipment has arrived for the Event Center, and crews are currently working to schedule installation. Installation is expected to begin in March and continue into April.
The work will be completed in phases to accommodate events and minimize disruptions to scheduled activities at the facility.
The project has been awarded, and supplies are currently being ordered. Installation is anticipated to begin in January 2026 and will take place over several weeks to accommodate existing facility rentals and space availability. These upgrades will enhance sound and video quality throughout the Event Center, improving the overall experience for event attendees and presenters alike.
