The Runway Safety Area Improvements Project will address safety requirements at the Statesville Regional Airport. This project focuses on removing a runway safety obstruction left over when the runway was extended in 2004. By eliminating the rock dam within the runway safety area, the project ensures compliance with safety standards and prepares the airport for continued growth and safe operations.
