Unified Development Ordinances are the required permits, processes, and regulations for the development process are outlined in one place, making it easier for developers, the public, and public entities to understand the requirements. It will guide Statesville to promote orderly and quality growth that ensures the public health, safety and general welfare of its citizens, establish standards for land development that are up to date and consistent with the City's vision and plans Improve the visual character of the City, conserve and protect property values within the City and Provide a more user friendly format of the standards to its current and future citizens.

Public Facilities Requirements Ordinance 13-25

The City of Statesville approved an ordinance that allow more flexible open space requirements for townhome developments, clarified street design standards for cul-de-sacs and hammerheads, and adjusted zoning regulations for multi-family developments to accommodate smaller lots and more practical setbacks.

Charter Amendment Ordinance 31-24 Election Charter Amendment

The City of Statesville approved an ordinance that moved the City of Statesville municipal election date to the first Tuesday in November of odd years. It also moved a staggered term of one of the at-large members.

Ordinance Amendment: Shopping Center Signs - Ordinance 17-25

The City of Statesville approved an ordinance updating the requirements for shopping center signs in certain districts.
