Splash & Smiles: Day 4 at SPD Summer Camp

After a week full of exciting lessons and hands-on activities, Day 4 of SPD Summer Camp brought a splash of relaxation! Campers traded in their fingerprinting kits and safety goggles for swimsuits and sunscreen as they headed to the Statesville Leisure Pool for a well-earned day of fun in the sun.

Laughter echoed as kids zipped down slides, floated along the lazy river, and cooled off in the refreshing water. Our Junior Ambassadors joined the campers, making memories and building connections with the younger group.

After swimming, everyone enjoyed a picnic lunch together—an opportunity to relax, refuel, and reflect on all they’ve experienced so far.

This mid-week break gave our campers a chance to unwind and just be kids, while continuing to build relationships within our community. Day 4 reminded us that growth and connection happen not just through learning, but also through shared moments of fun.
