Craig Wolfe Promoted to Captain at the Statesville Police Department
The Statesville Police Department is proud to announce the promotion of Craig Wolfe to the rank of Captain.
Captain Wolfe began his career with the department in April 2000 and has served the community for more than two decades with dedication and professionalism. Throughout his career, he has taken on a variety of roles that have shaped his leadership and experience within the department.
He began his service on patrol and later worked as a K-9 Officer and in Narcotics. In February 2017, he was promoted to Corporal, where he continued serving on patrol before being assigned to the Violent Crimes Unit. In November 2019, he was promoted to Sergeant and assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division. He later returned to the Violent Crimes Unit as a supervisor.
He was promoted to Captain in March and now oversees the Patrol Division.
“Captain Wolfe has dedicated his career to serving this community and mentoring others along the way,” said Chief David Onley. “His experience across multiple divisions and his steady leadership make him well prepared to lead our Patrol Division.”
Captain Wolfe’s career reflects a strong commitment to public safety, leadership, and the continued growth of the department. His experience across multiple divisions provides a well-rounded perspective that will serve both the department and the community well in his new role.
