CANCELED: Splash-In Movies: The Little Mermaid

Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to 𝑪𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑬𝑳 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒍𝒆 the Dive-In Movie scheduled for tonight (Friday, 7/19/24) at the Statesville Leisure Pool and our Splash-In Movie scheduled for tomorrow night (Saturday, 7/20/24) at the Bentley Community Center Splash Pad due to anticipated weather conditions.

While the beginning of the evening tonight appears favorable, we are concerned that storms will move in prior to the end of the movie. Conditions for tomorrow evening also currently appear to be unfavorable. With the safety of our citizens a top priority and to ensure equipment isn't damaged in the rain, we have made the decision to reschedule.

We do plan to reschedule both of these events this summer along with the previous movie canceled earlier in the summer. We are processing refunds for tickets already purchased for tonight's Dive-In movie at the Leisure Pool.

The Splash Pad opens at 7:30pm and the movie begins at approximately 8:30pm, or at dusk.

💧 Splash Pad: Beat the summer heat and cool off at the splash pad before the movie starts! Bring your swimsuits, towels, and sunscreen for a refreshing splash-filled experience with family and friends.

🎟️ Admission: Admission to our Splash-In Movies is completely FREE! 

🍿 Refreshments: Quench your thirst and satisfy your cravings with a selection of refreshments available for purchase. From snacks to beverages, everything is priced at just $1 for your convenience. Please remember to bring cash as we're unable to accept other forms of payment.

🌊 Venue: Spread out your blankets and set up your lawn chairs for a cozy viewing experience. Get comfortable and prepare for an evening of laughter and excitement!
