The City of Statesville operates under the council-manager form of government. The City Council acts as the legislative body in establishing policy and law and the City Manager handles the day-to-day management of the City organization.

City Administration operates out of City Hall located at 227 South Center Street and includes the City Manager's Office, City Clerk, and Public Information.

Long-range planning involves the creation and enforcement of plans for the entire City as well as special areas related to future growth and development. Through planning we seek to enhance the quality of life of our residents.
