Statesville Aquatics: Updated Operating Hours

Statesville Leisure Pool:

🔹August 10 - September 2, 2024: Weekends Only & Labor Day (Early Swim Session: 11a-3p and Late Swim Session: 4p-8p)

🔹September 3, 2024: The Leisure Pool is CLOSED for the season beginning 9/3/24.

Statesville Splash Pad:

🔹August 10 - September 2, 2024: Weekends Only & Labor Day

🔹 September 3, 2024: The Splash Pad is CLOSED for the season beginning 9/3/24.

🔹Skilled Laborer - Water Maintenance (Full-Time): Responsible for semi-skilled work in a variety of construction, maintenance, and repair assignments involving the use of specialized tools and equipment within the city’s water/sewer department.

🔹Fire Inspector (Part-Time): The Fire Inspector performs intermediate technical work in fire prevention; does related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision.

A North Carolina drought monitor map dated June 2, 2026, shows drought conditions across the state. Much of central and northern North Carolina remains in severe to extreme drought, indicated by orange and red shading. Areas of western North Carolina and portions of the coastal region are experiencing moderate drought, shown in tan. A small area in the southeastern corner of the state remains in extreme drought.
