Shaping Outdoor Recreation from Mountains to Sea
Help Shape the Future of NC's Parks & Recreation! ๐ณ The 2025-2030 Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan is underway, and we need YOUR input! This plan will guide the future of our state parks and outdoor recreational facilities, ensuring they meet the needs of our community.
Your voice matters! To ensure a diverse perspective is captured, there are two outreach efforts underway for the public. The ETC Institute is conducting a mail-in scientific survey across the state through randomly selected sample of residents and we have also launched a public opinion survey for the public. By completing the survey, you will be contributing to the development of a plan that reflects the needs and desires of our community.

Labor Day: September 2, 2024
In observance of Labor Day, all City of Statesville offices will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024.
This closure includes the Statesville Fitness & Activity Center and its Administrative Offices.

๐นCity Engineer (Full-Time): Performs complex and advanced professional, technical, and managerial work planning, organizing and directing a department responsible for compliance with zoning regulations and building codes at construction sites and, upon completion of construction, investigating complaints of zoning and code violations, resolving violations, and related work. Specific departmental functions include construction plan review, building inspections, building code and ordinance enforcement, and building permitting functions within the City of Statesville.
