Hello Statesville!

🥫 Have you heard? Our 2nd annual food drive is in full swing, and we need your help! We're collecting food throughout February to support local families and food pantries. You can drop off donations at City Hall, the City Office Building, the Statesville Civic Center, the Statesville Fitness & Activity Center, the Bentley Community Center, Statesville Police Department Headquarters, and all four fire stations.

😅 Looking for a fun way to support a great cause? The Polar Plunge is happening on February 15th at the Statesville Leisure Pool, benefiting Special Olympics Iredell County athletes. Every dollar raised helps provide year-round sports training, competition, leadership opportunities, and health services to these incredible athletes. Visit recreation.statesvillenc.net to learn more and see how you can get involved!

🍂 Leaf collection crews are finishing up in Area 5, and the last day for pickup is February 14th. After that, leaves must be bagged for collection. For daily updates, visit statesvillenc.net and click 'Leaf Collection' in the Quick Links.

♻️ This is a blue recycling week! Learn more about recycling with the City of Statesville here.
