City of Statesville Notice of Intent to Solicit Bids: South Development Area at the Statesville Regional Airport

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT BIDS

The City of Statesville will receive Bids for its South Development Area project at the Statesville Regional Airport Terminal Building located at 238 Airport Road, 2nd Floor Conference Room, Statesville, NC 28677, until Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), at which time and place all Bids received will be opened. Bids received after 2:00 PM EDT on Thursday, June 18, 2026, will not be considered.

This project can generally be described as the full construction of a airfield maintenance facility as well as the connection of proposed building utilities to existing utilities, installation of a concrete hangar skirt & walking area, apron & security fence adjustments, and construction of a 57,000 square foot overflow lot.

Bid Security equal to 5% of the Base Bid is required in the form of a cash deposit or a Bid Bond. Contract Security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required.

No Bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of Bids for a period of one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days.
