Temporary Traffic Alert: Hartness Road Closure Scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, 2026

Motorists are advised of a temporary road closure on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The closure will affect a small section of Hartness Road, from just below the entrance to Iredell Memorial Hospital's general parking area to the entrance of Brookdale Drive.

Brookdale Drive will remain open; however, motorists will not be able to turn onto Hartness Road from Brookdale Drive or turn onto Brookdale Drive from Hartness Road during the closure.

The temporary closure is necessary to allow crews to complete utility work safely and efficiently.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and exercise caution when traveling near the work zone.
